Farewell Forever to the Music of the Harp weaves jubilant tunes and passionate songs around the poems of Sileas na Ceapaich, the daughter of a Gaelic chieftain, whose words describe the profound changes in government, politics, language, culture, and religion in the Scottish Highlands around the turn of the 18th century.
