Alice Baldwin

Alice Baldwin, a harpsichordist and pianist from Laramie, Wyoming, is currently finishing up her doctorate in harpsichord at Indiana University. During her time at IU she has been a part of a wide variety of early music concerts, both as a continuo player and vocalist, including performances of Bach’s B Minor Mass, St. John Passion, and Magnificat; Monteverdi’s 1610 Vespers; Handel’s Judas Maccabaeus, Esther, and Dixit Dominus; and Tallis’s Spem in alium. This summer she will be performing at the Oregon Bach Festival with His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts in addition to serving as a continuo player for the OBF’s Monteverdi Vespers concerts. She will also be performing at the Berkeley Early Music Festival with the Indiana University-based ensemble Arethusa Musica.
