ABOUT THE COLLABORATING ORGANIZATIONS
Gamma Ut is a student-led and student-elected organization in the Historical Performance Institute of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. The purpose of this organization is to promote a sense of unity among students and alumni from the HPI, as well as to promote historically informed performances within the IU Bloomington campus and the greater Bloomington community.
The Historical Performance Institute at the Jacobs School of Music is a resource for students interested in learning more about the performance practice of early music, from the 12th to the 19th centuries.
Bloomington Early Music is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission encompasses catalyzing historically informed performance arts in Bloomington and South Central Indiana.
The Jacobs School of Music’s Office of Entrepreneurship and Career Development provides expert guidance, resources, and a wide variety of events designed to empower Jacobs School of Music students as they prepare for careers in music and dance. Through the student-led initiative Project Jumpstart, the program offers entrepreneurship workshops, networking events, student competitions, {well-advised} lunches, and residencies by prominent arts entrepreneurs.
From its beginning in 1819, as the first organized church in the city of Bloomington, The First Presyterian Church has sought a faithful, challenging and contemporary Christian witness. The church is a community of seekers and disciples in Christ in an ever changing world.
