Screening of Cadmus & Hermione - Tragédie lyrique by Jean-Baptiste Lully
General admission - $15 / Children 12 and under - free

Three centuries after its 1673 debut for the extravagant court of Louis XIV, the highly acclaimed ensemble Le Poème Harmonique presents Lully's Cadmus & Hermione in a magnificently staged production. The ambitious film is produced from a live performance on a candle-lit stage with seven different cameras that capture the energy, magic and drama of Lully's masterpiece. Please join BLEMF for this rare viewing of Cadmus and Hermione. Proceeds from the event will go towards BLEMF's upcoming four-day festival in September of 2011. Admission includes a wine and cheese reception.
