Specializing in the music of the French Baroque, Musïque d'Table has performed throughout the Midwest. Grand Voyage à Paris, depicts a imaginary musical journey that the venerable Johann Sebastian Bach may have dreamed of taking but never physically took. The music of François Couperin, Élisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre, Jean-Marie Leclair, Pierre Danican Philidor, Jean-Nicolas Geoffroy, Jacques Morel and of course, J.S. Bach himself.
Musïque d'Table was founded in 2005 by students of the Early Music Institute at Indiana University. Its members are Lúcia Alves Melo (flute / recorder), Go Yamamoto (violin), Joshua Keller (viola da gamba) and Jennifer Streeter (harpsichord). For this concert, Musïque d'Table will be joined by guest artist Brandi Berry on violin.
